Uniformed officers from the Deerfield Police Department served Tom & Eddie’s customers on Sunday, Oct. 2 as part of fundraiser titled “Burgers & Badges.” Tom & Eddie’s donated ten percent of net sales for the day, and more than $1,400 was raised for Special Olympics Illinois.

In addition to the ten percent donation by Tom & Eddie’s, raffle tickets were sold to win a yellow and chrome 2011 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. Six winners will be drawn at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Special Olympics headquarters in Bloomington, IL, each winner will be given a key, but only one key starts the Harley. The other five winners will receive 50-inch big screen TVs worth $1,000 each.
