The Auxiliary Board of JPA to Host "Fashion for a Cause" at Neiman Marcus Northbrook

Neiman Marcus Northbrook and Juvenile Protective Association’s Auxiliary Board have partnered and will host a breakfast and fashion presentation to benefit the Chicago advocacy and treatment agency. The event will be held in NM Northbrook’s Zodiac on Friday, November 9 at 9:00 a.m. Tickets are $75 and 100% of the proceeds will benefit JPA. The fashion presentation will be given by NM’s Style Advisor, Abby Zupancic. Abby will show festive holiday dressing on the professional models just in time for the upcoming holiday season. Guests will have the opportunity to kick off the season with this exciting event while contributing to child welfare. The morning will begin with breakfast and socializing followed by a brief introduction by JPA Executive Director Angiela Zielinski.

Proceeds of the event will benefit JPA, an organization best known for its treatment and counseling program. The goal of that program is to strengthen families by building stronger relationships between children and their parents in order that all family members function at their highest levels in caring for each other and contributing to society.

Founded in 1901 by social worker and political pioneer Jane Addams, Juvenile Protective Association is a private, non-profit agency that works with and on behalf of children and families. Using highly trained professionals, JPA ensures the safety and emotional security of vulnerable children through therapeutic and supportive services; influences public policy through research and education; and brings hope to families.

The event is chaired by Auxiliary Board members Taylor Lindstrom and Debbie Van Solkema, both of Wilmette. Paula Brady, Public Relations Manager at Neiman Marcus, said, “We are so pleased about this chance to work with the Auxiliary Board of JPA. We’re putting together a fabulous show which will be a lovely experience for the guests and a successful fundraiser for this wonderful cause.”

Tickets to Fashion for a Cause may be purchased and contributions to JPA can be made athttp://event.pingg.com/FashionForACause12.
