Bannockburn Police Blotter: Police Find Fugitive at Construction Site

Manuel Cervantes-Gradarrama, 32, of Chicago was apprehended by Bannockburn Police Nov. 28 on a fugitive warrant from Cook County, according to Bannockburn Police reports. There was no specific information on the charges which gave rise to the warrant.
Police were driving by a construction site on Telegraph Road where there was no activity. Shortly after that, they returned to find a vehicle in the driveway, according to the report. Cervantes-Gradarrama and another man indicated they were painting the building for the contractor.
After leaving the premises a second time, police learned there was an outstanding warrant against Cervantes-Gradarrama and returned as he was preparing to leave, according to the report. He was detained and taken to the Lake County Jail where officials there said they would make arrangements to transport him to Cook County.
Luciani Lubin, 21, of Hollywood, FL, was arrested for trespassing Nov. 28 at Trinity International University, according to Bannockburn Police reports.
Police were summoned to the school by university officials about Lubin’s actions, according to the report. Lubin told police he entered a building with a no trespassing sign after being told by students it was haunted. He was released on his own recognizance and will appear in court at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 22.
