Similar - Jewett Park, or my favorite - Maplewood Park - both great places to come out and watch DYBA softball and baseball players on a spring or summer day - we start around April 15th and continue throughout July. To me nothing beats taking your dog for a walk on a nice evening and watching the boys and girls having the times of their lives (Tied for second on my list - the other great parks - Mitchell, Woodland, Jaycee, Kipling, Shepard, Clavey, South Park, Walden - to watch the rest of our kids play ball!

Farmers Market, hands down. Next, the 'bandshell' Sunday concerts in Mitchell Park. My least favorite? The horrible and dangerous parking and traffic pattern at Deerfield Square.

Great suggestions, everyone. We will feature family friendly places again within a month and your ideas will be among the options. We don't want to insert them in the middle of the poll. We want them all to have a fair chance to win.
