Drug Investigation Continues at Osterman Avenue Home

Fire Department takes victim to hospital Monday.

An ongoing drug investigation is being conducted by the Deerfield Police Department surrounding events at a home on Osterman Avenue near the intersection of Jonquil Terrace, according to a news release from the department.

Police responded to an ambulance call at the residence Monday, according to the release. The victim was transported to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge by the Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire Department

Village Trustee Thomas Jester noticed yellow tape around the house and asked Police Chief John Sliozis the reason at Tuesday’s Village Board meeting.

“Can you tell us why there is yellow tape around the house at Osterman and Jonquil Terrace,” Jester asked Sliozis. Sliozis indicated he was not in a position to say anything.
