A strong fourth quarter helped Deerfield High School's girls basketball team beat Highland Park High School 59 to 54 Friday.

DHS outscored Highland Park 17 to 10 in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Stand-out performances included those from freshmen Margot Sylvan and Haley Greer, who both finished with 20 points each.

Deerfield finishes 6-4 in the conference and 8-17 overall. The team's next game is Regionals Monday at 6 p.m. at Grayslake North against Hoffman Estates.
