More Construction Delays Coming Thursday

Utility work will force lane closures this week and next.

Drivers on southbound Waukegan Road in the vicinity of Lake Cook Road can expect lane closures the next few days as a result of utility work, according to an email from Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Victoria Street.

The closure is expected to take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. today and Friday as well as Monday, according to the email. This work entails abandoning and relocating gas utilities required to address utility conflicts related to the overall project.

There will also be some work on Lake Cook Road next week.

Deerfield has developed a website (www.LakeCookRoad.com) to keep all interested parties informed throughout the project. More details are available there. There will be email communication with everyone who registers for the regular newsletter.

I do not interpret as you saying it goes north/south. Sounds like that reference is made to Waukegan...if heading southbound on Waukegan, when you hit intersection of LakeCook...
