Max Rice was supposed to provide a face to a Fox News story about disenfranchised young American voters; instead the New Trier alum pulled a prank on national television, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Gretchen Carlson of Fox & Friends introduced Rice as having voted for Obama in 2008, but now unemployed will be changing his support by voting for Mitt Romney in the upcoming presidential election.
When Carlson asked why Rice will be voting for Romney, the Glencoe native replied, “It’s actually a funny story. I lost a basketball game to a friend of mine … who’s a huge supporter of this show.”

Rice failed to answer the questions directly and Carlson ends up ending the interview by telling him, "I'm not sure you're ready for prime time."
It turns out the 20-year-old is actually a current Columbia College student who was not even old enough to vote in 2008, according to CBS Chicago.
“I don’t care if there’s any negative press about me. I think there’s a greater issue,” Rice told Talking Points Memo. “Our media should be a tool to educate the masses, instead of getting ratings and selling Cheetos. This is proof.”
The New Trier alum was elected president of his 2010 senior class, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A PSA: The host had to point out that she was Miss America not Miss USA. For hard hitting news with a truly fair and balanced approach the best morning show in the morning is Morning Joe with Republican Joe Scarborough on MSNBC. If you're stuck on Fox....look around there is actual fact based commentary out there. Yes, I watch a program hosted by a Republican, a Southern one at that. His co-host is a Democrat and that's fair and balanced.
