Northbrook Court Evacuated After False Fire Alarm

The mall was evacuated for about an hour while Northbrook firefighters assessed the situation.

 

The Northbrook Fire Department rushed to Northbrook Court on Wednesday afternoon for a false fire alarm that caused an hour-long evacuation, the Chicago Tribune reports. 

Somebody pulled the alarm accidentally,” a mall spokesperson told the Chicago Tribune. “There was no fire and no danger.”

Northbrook Court is located at 2171 Northbrook Ct. off of Lake Cook Rd. It's  open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
