While it’s not uncommon to hear of an animal biting a person, it’s quite strange when those roles are reversed. But that is exactly the type of case the Lake in the Hills Police Department was dealt early Sunday. Police arrested Analise J. Garner for animal cruelty at 411 Village Creek Drive, Apt. 2C, in Lake in the Hills, at 4:13 a.m. Sunday for reports that Police reported Garner came home intoxicated and became “out of control” after her mother confronted the teen about her drinking, Smith said.

Two cars crashed on the street and the force of the crash hurtled one of them up an embankment slope onto the railroad tracks. Neither of the cars was hit by a train.

School officials and police say they investigated the incident which spurred concerns and that they are confident that there is no credible threat at the school. However, to assuage parents concerns, the Lake Zurich Police Department assumed a presence at all District 95 schools today.
