Police Blotter: Vending Machine Theft

"The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction."

Theft 

An unknown person or persons took $30 from vending machines at Tony’s Subs, according to a May 15 . 

The machines are placed along the north side of the building and are not regularly checked, according to the report. The unknown offender or offenders used a key to take the currency from the two machines. The coins were left.

According to the report, the theft occurred between April 15 and May 15. Since the theft was discovered after the victim opened the machines to check them, police were unable to completely process the crime scene.
