Excellant but "sad" cartoon..It's not funny at all. Watching TV news is like hearing a euolgy for the world. "Inflation eats the guts out of nation"! Today, Gas at close to 4 bucks a gallon as many drive to the unemployment office is a nail in the heart of our middle class life! "Is there a "Statesman" in the USA house"?

LOL! All the Olympic athletes have to think about is themselves and their own bodies, but we have to worry about so much more... go us!

Thank you, Ted and Gabrielle, for your comments. I wish there were more happy topics to illustrate and I hope they're out there, but for this image and for this week an Olympic juxtaposition seemed to be timely at the least.
