Season Outlook:                    “After last season where injuries and flu hit us hard in October, I cannot speculate (on the coming season),” Coach Jeremy Kauffman said. “The seven we have on the line at Regionals is clearly a long way out and we are not deep enough right now.” Deerfield does not have seven runners that can meet the state standards necessary to navigate a season successfully, according to Kauffman. “They are trying to reach that but we have a long way to go,” he said. “I simply do not know who those runners will be yet.”.
