Number 11. After 55 years living happily in Deerfield and raising my sibs and me there, my beloved mother, Florence, 90, passed away on my birthday, 8/22/12. I love you Mom, and blessings to the others in Deerfield whose moms left us.

Steve, thanks for your comment. When I lost my mom and dad a few years back, it was your mother who found a home for some of their old, classic books. I remember the visit well when I went into her store with a few boxes of books and walked out with good feelings.
