In this latest edition of the Patch Readers’ Choice series, we want to know what makes your favorite spot special. Please vote for your pick in the poll below but there is more you can do to make your favorite the Readers’ Choice winner.
Patch expects the voting and contest to be close so once you vote, click on the listing of your choice and write a review. Then, return to the comments section of this story and write the most mouth watering description of your favorite burger. In the case of a tie, that determines the winner.
If you are planning a larger picnic, you can get a permit through the Deerfield Park District.
If you feel a choice has been left out, please let us know and we will add it. The sooner you do, the better that suggestion’s opportunity of winning.

You should add Walden Park to the mix -- If the other 109 school parks are in, then I would presume Walden would be one of them. Plus, I've had fun times with my kids there.
