Baking Soda for Alkalinity

As an occasional medicine to help balance pH, mix ¼ to ½ teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of pure mineral or spring water and drink twice a day, either in the morning or at bedtime. Lark maintains that alkalizing will help prevent colds, flu and allergies because these conditions thrive in acidic environments. Also, alkaline conditions promote stronger bones. Balancing your bodies pH can lead to increased energy, more stamina, better sleep, better digestion, sharper thinking. So, de-stress, balance your diet with 80 % alkaline foods, and use baking soda as an occasional medicine to help balance an over-acidic condition.
