On Thursday, September 13, 2012, Deerfield High School will host the annual Open House. At Open House, parents meet their students’ teachers and learn about the classes their children take each day.The evening showcases the quality
efforts of our teachers, staff, and students. The evening is structured to allow parents the opportunity to follow a shortened version of the student’s daily class schedule.  “Classes” begin at 6:30 p.m. for those parents who have a son/daughter with early bird classes.

Beyond Open House, we underscore the need to stay apprised of Deerfield
High School information. The district/school website will serve as a primary
communication tool for District 113 news. For instance, parents can access the
letter that explains Open House in greater detail by going to the DHS website
and clicking on the “Parent” tab at the top. We encourage our community to
frequently check the site for Board of Education action, upcoming events and
information specific to DHS. Our public library has Internet access for those
families who do not have access at home.
