District 113 School Board Caucus
Township High School District 113 School Board Caucus is seeking members for the 2013 School Board Elections
There are three seats up for election in April, 2013, if you live in Bannockburn, Deerfield, Highland Park, Highwood and Riverwoods.
The responsibilities of Caucus members are as follows:
1. Seek out qualified candidates.
2. Develop questions to discuss with candidates
3. Interview all candidates who wish to appear before the caucus
4. Develop a consensus on a slate of candidates to recommend to the voters of District 113.
Township District 113 is the biggest taxing body on your Lake County tax bill and has a tremendous impact on the lives of the children and families in the District. The Caucus is open to all residents of District 113 -- whether or not they own a home, and whether or not they have children attending either of the high schools in the district. The only exclusions are made for individuals who are employed by the School Board or either of the high schools.
We hope to see you at this year's Caucus!
Respond to Jean Sogin at email below; attend one engagement or two school board meetings, plan on attending the Organizational Meeting, then one or two endorsement meetings. So join in!
Please contact Jean Sogin, Caucus Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
