Members of the community are invited to visit and tour the Deerfield Montessori Schools to learn firsthand about Montessori education during the open houses and parent information sessions. The Deerfield Montessori Schools are comprised of four schools – two schools are in Deerfield, one school is in Riverwoods and one school is in the Glenview/Northfield area. The schools are fully accredited at the highest standard of excellence by the American Montessori Society and have been serving North Shore families since 1966. Half-day, School-day and Full-day programs are available year round for children 3 months to 12 years of age and include parent/child classes, infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten and elementary school through sixth grade along with summer camp. Personal tours are also available weekdays. More About Riverwoods Montessori School
This educational facility is part of the Deerfield Montessori Schools. Its teachers are certified by the Association Montessori Internationale and the America Montessori Society. Riverwoods Montessori School, which was expanded in 1997, is located near the Ryerson Nature Preserve. It accepts students ages 2 to 6 years old. The campus is also home to the Riverwoods Montessori elementary school, which hosts students ages 6 to 12. Summer programs are available.
