Members of the community are invited to visit and tour the Deerfield Montessori Children's House to learn firsthand about Montessori education during the open houses and parent information sessions this week.  The Deerfield Montessori Schools are comprised of four schools – two schools are in Deerfield, one school is in Riverwoods and one school is in the Glenview/Northfield area.  The schools are nationally accredited at the highest standard of excellence by the American Montessori Society and have been serving North Shore families since 1966.  Half-day, School-day and Full-day programs are available year round for children 3 months to 12 years of age and include parent/child classes, infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten and elementary school through sixth grade along with summer camp.  Personal tours are also available weekdays.  For additional information or questions about the Deerfield Montessori Schools, please call Arlene Gordon at 847-945-8661 or visit us on the web at www.montessori-schools.com.
