Keep Boiling Your Water

Deerfield’s boil order remains in effect through at least midday Wednesday. Keep bringing water to a boil, keep it there for at least a minute and then let it cool before using. Patch will publish a breaking news alert as soon as it is lifted. In the meantime, please share your ideas in the comments or on Facebook to help each other out.

Travel to the Moon

Well, not exactly. But, the Lake County Astronomical Society will bring strong enough telescopes at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jewett Park to see the mountains and craters on the moon. The event is sponsored by the Deerfield Public Library and is free.
