Juniors Should Prepare for PSAE

The PSAE for Illinois high school juniors is coming up on April 23.  All juniors should be preparing for the ACT portion of this test.

The ACT is similar to an athletic or artistic performance.  To do your best, you must practice.  Apropriate practice is essential to optimal performance.  Students should be practicing several weeks before the test date.

It is important to schedule this practice.  Junior year is very busy, and if a student waits until he or she has time to practice, it may never happen.  Thirty minutes to an hour weekly is probably a mimimum amount of time required.

Some students can program this time on their own.  Many others need the structure of a class or a tutor.  Either way, now is the time to get started.

On the day of the test, students want to feel comfortable and prepared.  Practice is the best way to achieve this.  Every student wants to know they did their best on test day.
