Get Out of the Kitchen and Support the DHS After Party!

It's a classic "win-win" situation:  take a break from cooking today, Thursday, March 14, by dining at Noodles & Company in Deerbrook Mall and a whopping 25% of what you spend will go toward the Deerfield High School Prom After Party. The fundraiser will be in effect from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.  Diners simply need to mention the After Party when placing their orders at Noodles to help support the cause.  

Not familiar with the Prom After Party?  The event, now in its 6th year, is a free, all-night, incredibly fun party for DHS seniors that kicks off immediately after the traditional prom. Why a party after a party?  The short answer:  the After Party, held at the Sachs Center, keeps the kids safe on a night when any parent of a teen can tell you, anything can happen.  The longer answer is that the After Party is one last chance for seniors to collectively let loose and bond as a class.  The event is free for anyone who wants to attend (and last year, more than 400 kids did!)  The After Party is sponsored by Deerfield Parent Network and organized by a dedicated crew of parent volunteers.  The event is funded entirely by donations from local retailers and businesses and the community at large.  Which brings me back to today's fundraiser at Noodles & Co. You get a delicious, stress-free dining experience, DHS seniors get an unforgettable experience.  Win-win!
