Deerfield Man Named to Oy! Chicago's '36 Under 36' List of Jewish Leaders

Deerfield's Aaron Frazin has been named to the Jewish "36 Under 36."

Oy! Chicago has released its “Double Chai in the Chi 36 Under 36" list of young Jewish leaders, humanitarians, educators and social activists, including Deerfield's own Aaron Frazin.

The 23-year-old is founder and CEO of Charlie Contacts Corp, a mobile app that provides information on people you're about to meet up with. His company has was named one of the "World’s Most Promising New Companies" by CNBC and is on Forbes' "10 Companies at South by Southwest to Look for in 2013," according to Frazin's bio on Oy! Chicago.

On the side, Frazin writes for the Huffington Post's Technology section.

"We were blown away by the high quality of the nominees this year," said Stefanie Pervos Bregman, Founding Editor and Blogger-in-Chief for Oy!Chicago, in a story published by the Chicago Tribune. "The 36 people on this year’s list are truly shaping the landscape of the Jewish community and bringing innovative ideas to Chicago."

The "36 Under 36" recipients will be highlighted at YLD's "WYLD on Mag Mile" party on Aug. 15 on the Howells & Hood patio in Chicago, which is open to the public.
