Deerfield Mosquitoes Test Positive for West Nile Virus

It’s the first indication of the disease in Lake County this year.

Mosquitoes from Deerfield that were collected July 8 have tested positive for West Nile virus, the Lake County Health Department posted in its blog on Patch.

These are the first Lake County mosquitoes to test positive this year.

It would be helpful if it mentioned what area of town the West Nile virus was found.
