Deerfield Mosquitoes Test Positive for West Nile Virus

It's the first indication of the disease in Lake County this year.

Mosquitoes from Deerfield that were collected July 8 have tested positive for West Nile virus, the Lake County Health Department posted in its blog on Patch.

These are the first Lake County mosquitoes to test positive this year.
