Planning for the annual Deerfield-Highland Park Relay for Life begins with an initial planning meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Deerfield’s Village Hall. The event is a major activity of the American Cancer Society.
Individuals are needed to help with logistics, entertainment, team recruitment, survivor and caregiver activities, securing community support, food and prizes. This year’s event is chaired by Assistant Deerfield Village Manager Jenny Maltas.
