L'Chaim Center Gets Permanent Deerfield Home

The Jewish learning center, which has been using temporary homes for several years, will move into a space on Lake Cook Road.

After bouncing around temporary spaces on the North Shore for six years, the L’Chaim Center is poised to move into a permanent home in Deerfield, according to an article in the Deerfield Review.

The Deerfield Village Board approved the Jewish learning center’s request for a special use permit at 747 Lake Cook Rd at its most recent meeting. This will allow the center to hold classes and a monthly Sabbath service in the space, the article says.

The L’Chiam Center is run by Rabbi David Begoun and his wife, Ali Begoun.
