Lifestyle Expo Offers Healthy Ideas

A joint effort by the Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce, West Deerfield Township and Walgreens gave people lots of choices to live a more healthy lifestyle today at the Sachs Recreation Center in Deerfield
There were free flu shots, cooking lessons, healthy foods, health screenings, fitness demonstrations and an opportunity for youngsters to shoot baskets with Chicago Sky basketball players at the Healthy Lifestyle Expo.
People even learned how to sign up for the Affordable Care Act without going to the website, according to West Deerfield Township Supervisor Alyson Feiger. The Township is a vehicle for registration.
