Park District Offers Spring Break Camp

Spring break is just around the corner and, for those sports-minded, elementary school-age children who will be in town, the Deerfield Park District offers a 5-day Sports Camp, March 25-29, at the Sachs Recreation Center. The week-long camp includes soccer, kickball, wiffleball, basketball and other activities, along with swim time in the indoor pool. Hours each day are from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Campers will get a break for lunch and plenty of time to work on skills, teamwork and sportsmanship, while having a good time. Students in Grades 1-5 who are looking for a different type of spring vacation activity should check out the Deerfield Park District’s Spring Flings, also offered March 25-29. 

Boys and girls in Grades 1-5 who are interested in a little competition and a lot of fun, may register now for Spring Sports Camp, Activity #333008, Section 01. Online registration is available at www.deerfieldparks.org or registration may be done at the Deerfield Park District, 836 Jewett Park Drive, in Deerfield. Registration is limited to 40 participants. The cost is $98 per camper for Deerfield Park District residents and $147 per non-resident camper. Sachs Recreation Center is located at 455 Lake Cook Road, in Deerfield Park Plaza, Deerfield.
