Pooch Parade to Benefit Orphans of the Storm
Take your dog for a walk and raise money for Orphans of the Storm at the 7th annual Pooch Parade in Deerfield on Aug. 3.
The 7th annual Pooch Parade charity dog walk benefitting Orphans of the Storm animal shelter will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Jaycee Memorial Park, located at 1026 Wilmot Rd., Deerfield.
Bring your dog and join in the 2-mile walk. Registration fee is $25 per dog.
Participants can also create their own fund-raising page and collect pledges.
The shelter's goal is to raise $15,000.
The event will also feature raffles, prizes and a chance to meet some special animals that are looking for their forever home.
