Readers' Choice: Best Italian Food

Choose between six choices for your favorite Italian eatery.

Who doesn't love a great Italian meal?

From hearty pastas to pizza and delicious salads and desserts, Deerfield and Highland Park's Italian eateries have something delicious for everyone.

Our fourth Best of Patch contest kicks off this week with a love for scrumptious Italian cuisine and we're asking you to share your favorite place.

Here are some of our favorite spots, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments or on Facebook and we'll add it:

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

2nd Street Enoteca has amazingg food! Plus they use organic and sustainable ingredients...supporting local economy :)

I can't vote for any of them. Bella Via - sometimes the food and service is good, sometimes not. Italian Kitchen - Service so slow you could go to another restaurant, eat there, come back, and your food still wouldn't be ready. Rosebud: Started out nice in HP, went downhill service and food-wise over the years, I'm not sure I'm willing to risk my time and money on their new location at the remodeled Baker's Hair location in Deerfield.

Looking most forward to Moderno, which is moving into the old Rosebud space. Also, I agree with those above - add Highwood's restaurants! I haven't eaten in HP for a good dinner in a long time - Highwood's always the choice.
