Turbo Truck Visits Deerfield Tire This Weekend

Ever wondered what it feels like to drive a racecar? Or wanted to pose like you’re ready for the Indy 500?

You’ll have your chance this weekend, July 26-27, at a Turbo Truck Event at Deerfield Tire, featuring a racing simulator you can sit in to capture the thrill of driving a racecar, a real racecar to pose with for pictures, as well as giveaways, popcorn and hotdogs.

The event will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27 at Deerfield Tire, 120 N. Waukegan Road, Deerfield.

"Turbo" is a newly released movie about a snail named Turbo who puts his dreams on the line to help his friends achieve theirs, while never giving up on his dream of winning the Indy 500.

To celebrate that racing spirit, Deerfield Tire is bringing in a big Turbo semi-truck with a real racing car inside. Kids will be able to get pictures with the racecar.
