Wow House: Planes, Trains, & Automobiles Home For Sale
This six-bedroom home was featured in the popular John Hughes comedy.
From elegant and stately mansions to modern, environmentally-friendly abodes, The North Shore is chock-full of one-of-a kind homes.
Each week, Patch features one ‘Wow House’ that caught our attention. This week’s three-story colonial, located at 230 Oxford Road in East Kenilworth is listed at $1,699,000. Its 3,576 square feet contain six bedrooms and 3.2 baths.
Built in 1916, this home has historical appeal and a grand location, but also impressive is its stardom. In the 1987 movie Planes, Trains & Automobiles, the house was used as the home of Steve Martin’s character, Neil Page.
