Deerfield Actors Earn Roles in 'Secret Garden'

Four Deerfield actors earned key parts in the Deerfield Family Theater production of “The Secret Garden Nov. 8-17 at the Caruso Middle School Auditorium, according to a news release from the Deerfield Park District.

Miranda Singer will take the part of Mary Lennox, Reid Graham will be Colin Craven, the role of Alice will be taken by Sabra Gerber and Ashley Benson will play Jane.

Other Deerfield residents with parts in the show are John Benson, Julie Boyer, Claire Callistein, Amy Corday, Olivia Emerzian, Isabelle Fleming, Rosie Fleming, Claire Garrett, Jack Gordon, Lelia Greenspan, Leah Israel, Laura Klinger, Claire Metzger, Emma Pigg, Evelyn Procell, Jackelyn Samandas, Antonia Tpias, Josh Ticho and Kyla Wolski.

Producer Susan Redondo has brought in an award production crew including Jeff Award winner Stephen Genovese as director and another Jeff prize holder, Theresa Ham, handling the costumes. Tom Steffens will direct the music.
