Celebrity Chef Gale Gand’s Cookie Contest

Enter your favorite cookie recipe to compete for prizes during the Deerfield Historical Society’s 37th Annual Fall Festival. 

Bring 3 dozen cookies made from scratch and a copy of the recipe between noon and 2:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at 3:30 p.m. 

Gale Gand is chef-in-residence at Lake Forest’s Elawa Farm and founding pastry chef and partner of the Chicago restaurant Tru. She is a James Beard award winner and author of seven cookbooks.  After the judging, all the cookies will be sold to benefit the Deerfield Historic Village.
