Christ United Methodist Church is hosting its 2nd Annual Fair Trade Gift Boutique featuring items handcrafted by women in developing countries. The sale proceeds go directly to the artisans, thereby increasing the women's ability to purchase needed improvements in health, housing and education, while decreasing their vulnerability to human trafficking, HIV/AIDS, and violence.
Everyone is inivited to shop. You'll find items eclectic to exquisite, created from natural, recycled and sustainable materials. Featured are jewelry, scarves, handbags, sweaters, apparel, housewares, ornaments, home decor items and more.
This is a wonderful opportunity to treat yourself, your friends, your family, and help women break out of poverty at the same time.

The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 9-3 and Sunday, Nov. 11, 11-3, at Christ United Methodist Church Deerfield, 600 Deerfield Rd., one block east of Waukegan/43. Parking available in lot at the corner of Deerfield Rd. and Rosemary Ter.
