Express-Sing-You

Adults singing together, but not a choir...No auditions, no divas, and no need to be able to read music!  The emphasis is on having FUN, getting together with fellow singers, and making some noise!  Leave the kids at home and come out to sing with cool people like you!

Every other week for a total of six sessions we'll meet at 7:00.  We'll take a little time to chat, and then get a tip or two on singing before we begin.  We'll spend an hour singing and then clear the stage for a solo or two for those who signed their name on the "I Want To Solo" list.

Before each class we'll send participants lyric sheets for four songs in different popular styles.  We'll pick from well-known songs, but if you don't happen to know one of the songs you'll have time to visit Youtube and check it out. Then we'll come together and sing our little hearts out!  (Harmonizing optional.)

The class will be taught by Meredith Colby Procell and Derrick Procell.  Meredith is a voice teacher based in Deerfield.  For more info on Meredith, her web site is www.BestNorthShoreVoiceLessons.com .  Derrick is a songwriter and producer (and awesome piano player) at Hear and Now Studios in Deerfield.  For more info on Derrick, his site is www.HearAndNowMusic.com

We'll meet every other week at the Congregational Church in Deerfield.  Fees for the class are $75 per person for the 6-week, 90-minute class.  If two people register together the fee is $60 each.  There's no cut-off date, but we'll need a minimum of 8 people to run the class, so signing up would be a good idea.  To register, email Meredith at MeredithColby@gmail.com.
