Grand Opening of WONDER! - World's Largest Children's Retailer

On October, 29, 2011, WONDER!, the nation’s largest children’s retailer, will open its doors to debut an entirely new retail concept that makes shopping for and with children fun. This one-stop shopping destination located in Deerfield will feature an unmatched selection of baby gear, apparel, toys, bedding, furniture and more from large brands and boutique labels.

As part of the grand opening celebration, WONDER! will kick-off its Kid’s Concert Series with the mega-popular rock'n'roll band for children, Ralph’s World. Created by Ralph Covert, the high-energy super-melodic songwriting and McCartneyesque style has made him a favorite of children and parents alike with tunes such as “The Great Outdoors” and “Wiggle Your La-De-Dah.” Families are invited to sing and dance along.

Other grand opening activities include:
• The first 100 people to make a purchase will receive a WONDER! gift card. Gift cards will be issued in undisclosed amounts from $5 to $100.
• Open play including art tables and supplies provided by Alex Toys and other hands-on interactive activities and creative explorations
• Kid-friendly snacks like healthy nut-free trail mix provided by Bean Sprouts Café
• Special Halloween themed activities on Sunday, October 30 – children are encouraged to come in costume

Sunday, October 30th: Halloween at WONDER!
• 8 a.m.-9 p.m.: Store Hours
• 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Open play, face painting, balloon artists, “Trick or Treat” through each department, mini-pumpkin decorating in the WONDER! Pumpkin Patch, Story time with the Not-so-Wicked WONDER! Witch
