Fine Arts Festival Adds Local Eateries

Tenth annual event will feature 100 artists, five musical groups and food selections from five Deerfield restaurants.

Food from five local restaurants will be a new addition to the 10th annual Deerfield Fine Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Park Avenue just north of Deerfield Road.

In addition to 100 artists and five musical groups, people can purchase food offered by Trax Tavern and Grill, Il Forno Pizza, Dimetri’s Greek Restaurant, Ristorante Abruzzo and Tom & Eddie’s. This latest addition is the creation of the Deerfield-Bannockburn-Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce.

“This may well be one of the best fine arts festivals we have ever held,” Mayor Harriet Rosenthal said. “Quality and variety will be found in every vendor and booth.”
