Free Concerts Return to Deerfield Square

Series of three performances starts in July.

Free summer concerts return to Deerfield Square as part of July Fest next month with three performances of diverse music at 7 p.m. in the southwest corner of the plaza.

Lynne Jordan and the Shivers will start the series July 11, Heartache Tonight will perform July 19 and the series will conclude July 26 with American English. Sidewalk sale from July 19 through 21 is part of the fest.

Lynne Jordan and the Shivers perform a variety of music including soul, blues and light rock. They are a Chicago based group which has performed throughout the world, according to information on its website.

Heartache Tonight is an Eagles tribute band which does everything it can to give its audience an experience similar to a performance from the original ensemble, according to its website.

American English plays exclusively Beatles music. According to its website, it won the Illinois entertainer of the year award as best tribute band in the Chicago area three of the last four years.
