Free Park District Concerts Start June 17

Sunday concerts to return to Mitchell Park while Wednesday matinee performances will continue at Jewett Park Pavilion.

Music will be plentiful in Deerfield this summer with free concerts three to four times a week at different venues including a series both Sunday evenings and Wednesday afternoons sponsored by the . 

The Park District will put on its annual Summer Sampler from 5 to 6:30 p.m. each Sunday starting June 17 at  and Eat to the Beat from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays beginning July 11 at the .

People are encouraged to bring their own picnic to Mitchell Park or purchase which will be offered for sale. During Eat to the Beat, picnic facilities will also be available as will food for purchase from Cooker’s Red Hots.
