Sunny Weather Forecast for Fourth of July

Deerfield Family Days prediction looks good with slight chance of isolated thunderstorms for fireworks on Wednesday.

With temperatures in excess of 100 degrees a year ago for Deerfield’s Family Days, the mercury is expected to be 20 points lower when the parade kicks off at noon Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected in the lower 80’s Thursday as people enjoy the annual pancake breakfast, dog show, a 5 and 10-kilometer race, flower show, a parade through Village streets, free swimming at Deerfield’s two municipal pools and more.

There is, however, a slight chance of an isolated thundershower Wednesday night for the Village’s annual fireworks display at Brickyard Park.
