Biggest Endorsements Go to Schneider
Brad Schneider has earned the biggest endorsements in the race for the Democratic nomination it Illinois' 10th Congressional District.
Brad Schneider can make a number of claims that show he is leading the endorsement race in the contest for the Democratic nomination in Illinois' 10th Congressional District.
- Brad is the only candidate in this race supported by a congressperson who has represented 10th district voters. Former Congresswoman Melissa Bean is supporting Brad. Bean represented over 120,000 voters who are now in the 10th.

- Brad is the only candidate in this race to have been endorsed by a member of the House Democratic leadership, earning the endorsement of the House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer.
- Brad is the only candidate in this race endorsed by a sitting State Senator. State Senators Susan Garrett and Jeff Schoenberg have endorsed Brad.

- Brad is the only candidate in this race endorsed by a current 10th district town mayor. Mayor Marty Moylan of Des Plaines has endorsed Brad. Additionally Brad has the endorsement of former Buffalo Grove Mayor Elliott Hartstein and former Wheeling Village President Shelia Schultz.
- Brad is the only candidate in this race endorsed by three previous candidates for the Democratic nomination in the 10th: Former State Rep Julie Hamos, Senior Advisor to the Clinton White House Jay Footlik, and Small Business Advocacy Council President Elliot Richardson.
- Brad is the only candidate in this race endorsed by a major print publication serving the 10th district. The Chicago Tribune and the Daily Herald have endorsed him. These are the only two papers endorsing (the Patch does not endorse) for the primary and both go to Brad.
Brad also has an impressive list of local democratic organization and union endorsements. The Maine Township Democrats and the Vernon Township Democrats are both endorsing Brad. IBEW Local 134, Ironworkers Local 63, Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers District of Illinois, Chicago Painters Local 147, and the Transport Workers Union Illinois-Indiana State Conference have all endorsed as well.
Schneider has more support than any other candidate. Local & national Democratic leaders, local & national Democratic organizations, newspapers, labor groups, activists, local citizens: Brad has strong support on all fronts.
