Construction Continues at Deerbrook
New buildings for Starbucks and Subway are underway.
With hopes for a new Jewel at Deerbrook still in limbo, mall ownership is moving ahead with plans to build a freestanding location for Starbucks and another for Subway in preparation for a larger project.
Crews have cleared the old Devon Bank structure near the intersection of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads and will soon be building the new Starbucks and Subway buildings. There will be additional retail space adjacent to subway.
The new Starbucks—going in next to Chase Bank—will have a drive through window.
