Cosi Job Cuts Loom as CEO Resigns

Deerfield-based Cosi operates more than 100 restaurants.

Restaurant operator Cosi, based in Deerfield, announced plans to reduce its administrative workforce for an annual savings of about $1 million, according to TheRepublic.com. There's no word on how many positions will be lost.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Cosi CEO Carin Stutz had resigned and was replaced by Executive Chairman Stephen Edwards, reported wandtv.com.
