First Midwest Bank Gets a Lift

Remodeling project moves along in downtown Deerfield.

When First Midwest Bank decided to renovate its interior recently it may not gave realized the kind of lift it was going to get Monday in downtown Deerfield.

The project is primarily remodeling of the inside of the building, according to Deerfield Code Enforcement Supervisor Clint Case. “It’s been some years,” he said referring to the need for the work.

One of the things that will be new is a heating, ventilating and air conditioning system, according to Case. Monday, a tall crane hoisted the rooftop units into place.
