Haunted House Going Up in Deerfield

Pumpkins on Parade Comes to Deerfield Square Saturday.

There will be some new features this year in the annual Halloween display at southwest corner of Deerfield and Waukegan Roads in Deerfield Square which will be part of Deerfield Square’s annual Halloween celebration.

The display went up Saturday and there will be giant pumpkins parading at the shopping center at 9:34 a.m. this Saturday, according to an email from the Deerfield Bannockburn Chamber of Commerce.

The pumpkins were designed by Deerfield High School students as part of their homecoming celebration this week. The designer of the winning pumpkin will pick a charity to receive $5,000.
