Long Grove Chocolate Fest Runs Friday Through Sunday
Annual festival includes music, shopping and wide variety of chocolate treats.
Chocolate lovers, rejoice! Long Grove’s annual Chocolate Fest takes place this weekend. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting today (May4) through Sunday (May 6), visitors can sample an array of chocolate creations while shopping or taking in the outdoor entertainment
Long Grove’s website mentions chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate donuts, chocolate martinis and chocolate cake among the treats that will be offered at food booths throughout the historic downtown area.
Those who need a great from chocolate can also purchase more mainstream fare from Long Grove restaurants and festival vendors. In addition to chocolate-dipped strawberries, Apple Haus, which closed earlier this year, will sell its popular apple cinnamon donuts, the business announced on its Facebook page.

A variety of musical entertainment will be featured on four stages on the grounds. It will include a performance at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Kildeer Countryside Chorus. See the attached PDF for the complete entertainment schedule.
