More Holiday Displays Sprout Around Town

Chanukah decoration adds to festive displays at Deerfield Square.

People passing the southwest intersection of Deerfield and Waukegan Roads are greeted by a in the form of a giant jack-in-the-box surrounded by an assortment of toys and Christmas celebrants courtesy of the owners of .

For those venturing inside the center to browse among the shops, there is more holiday fare. A Chanukah display created by Chicago Public Schools art teacher Diane Drexler, the same artist who made the other decoration, adorns the south end of the center.

Both displays will remain up through the holiday according to Deerfield Square owner Chuck Malk.
