On the Market: Deerfield Foreclosures

From modest condos and single family homes, here's a look at foreclosure properties on the market in Deerfield market this week.

Looking for a piece of Deerfield real estate for a steal? There are currently 125 homes in the 60015 zip code at some stage of foreclosure, according to a listings search by Trulia.

Within the Deerfield Village limits the actual number of homes in foreclosure is much less, according to Deerfield Code Enforcement Supervisor Clint Case. He said there are approximately 45 homes in foreclosure.

In addition to Deerfield, the local zip code includes Bannockburn, Riverwoods and unincorporated Deerfield stretching west beyond Milwaukee Avenue.

Below, we've included a sampling of homes. Just click the address link for all the details of that particular property and click here for a full round up of foreclosure properties around town.

Your first paragraph make little sense. There are many more than 125 homes in the 60015 zip code.

Thanks for the catch. Hope you like it better now.

Yes, you cleared it up. Not shocked at the number, but some of the places are pretty large and I'm guessing the banks are going to take a bath.

I spent some time looking at the list. A large number of the homes are west of Milwaukee ave. I wonder what the proportion is?

I would guess a much greater % of the homes in that little area. It's in 60015, but actually unincorporated Lake Cty with Buffalo Grove corporate park to the north, and Lake Cook Road to the south. It is in Aptakisic-Tripp SD 102 and Stevenson HS district 125
